WHY POSITIVE MINDSET IS THE NEW SELF-CARE

At a time when there’s a lot of fear and uncertainty, I wanted to remind you (and myself) that more than ever we need to check-in with ourselves, and ensure we are continuing to nourish our body, mind, and soul.

We need to keep our mindset positive and prioritize gratitude and self-care in our daily lives.

Otherwise we’ll end up too tired and depleted to be there for those we love. And without inspired energy and creativity to thrive in our lives.

So if you are feeling a bit lost with your self-care system, or are new to consciously planning it into your day, I hope this blog provides you with the inspiration to truly ensure you are looking after yourself, as you deserve to.

So what can we do to take care of ourselves better?

I’ll share with you my 3 most important positive mindset/self-care routine:

• Daily meditation/prayer
I think about all the things that make me feel most at peace. Taking deep, belly breaths sends a signal to our nervous system to feel calm. It helps me to clear any negative energy. In general, I don’t have any ‘rules’ regarding how long my mediation needs to be. It can be 2 or 20 minutes, and you still will see the benefits.

• Daily gratitude. Every morning and evening I spend 5 minutes writing about what I’m grateful for. Writing on my gratitude journal helps me to feel grounded and brings me peace of mind. It helps me to focus on the little and big blessings in my life, and shift my perspective towards the positive.

Daily visualization. I focus my thoughts towards what I want to create in my life. It helps me to emotionally align my vision to what I want to manifest in my life. It’s all about attaching feelings to your goals, so it becomes naturally easy to achieve them.

Implementing these super simple tips can have a huge impact in your life.
